Soul AssassinCoveting the darkness
Yet preying for the light
The rhythm of the blackened rain
A death-nell in the night
Using sound and shadow
As you follow stalk and flee
To mingle with the mortals,
Yet hiding plain to see
A mournful cry a hollow wail,
Another mind is lost
Continue on without a care,
No footsteps in the frost
For Earthly power cannot touch,
That which is forsaken
And no-one left is living
Who can count the lives you've taken
And do not think it evil,
To hunt a victim blind
For darkness is subjective
When you're dealing with the mind
Now silent forward on you move,
Transported by the shadows
Immortal blade
Hope LostWhat an elegant spoon,
Yet not so much a fork in the road.
The moon is waxing lyrical,
And the donkeys prey upon unsuspecting travellers.
What now for the age of miscontent?
Can it be that the world has finally come full circle?
In my heart of hearts I doubt it, but am willing to try,
To hope that the spoon, the moon, and the donkey survive.
For all that is gone is not lost
But rather waiting for the moment to shine.
Ode to my ToothbrushTrippy little toothbrush,
Electric wizzy dude,
When you're spinning on my toofies,
I'm in a happy mood.
But now yo' ass is busted,
And your motor's on the fritz,
And that mournful sound you're makin'
Is giving me the shits.
So it's sianara sucker,
'Coz you're goin' in the bin,
And I'm off to get another,
Trippy wizzy little thing.

Oh, and I *SO* agree with your blog post about the networks killing off brilliant Sci-fi shows. I can't believe they stopped Firefly after only one season. What is their *problem*???
